I really love Tom in this scene because he truly brought forth what I thought Draco felt. The fact that Harry was dead, was a like a blow to his resolve. He’d truly believed that Harry could defeat Voldemort, that Harry could kill this creature that had torn his family apart. He was not a killer, but a scared young boy. You can see the slight tremble in his lip, the way his eyes harden when his father calls for him. It’s only his mother that can make him move a muscle because though he’s surrounded by muggle-borns, and blood traitors, it’s there that he feels the most safe.
